Explore our collection of hydroponic indoor plants for sale in Australia. These plants are grown in soil-free conditions—like perlite or sphagnum moss—and are already adapted to hydroponic growing, so there’s no need to convert them yourself. Perfect for beginners and experienced growers alike, they can stay in hydro—or be transitioned to soil if you prefer.
Hydroponic Indoor Plants for Sale in Australia
We grow many of our hydro plants in-house using hydro-friendly mediums like perlite or moss, or source them from local growers. Whether you're interested in trying LECA, semi-hydro setups, or simply want an easy way to start, these plants give you options.
Do I Have to Grow It in Hydro?
No. While these plants are grown hydroponically, they can be potted into soil if that’s your preference. In fact, most transition to soil without any issues. If you're unsure, you can keep the plant in its current medium for a few days after arrival to let it adjust before repotting.
How Will My Plant Arrive?
Some plants are shipped in their grow pot with a hydroponic medium like perlite. Others are sent bare-rooted, with roots wrapped in sphagnum moss. The product page will let you know which method is used for each plant.
How to Transition to Soil (If You Prefer)
When you're ready, use a chunky, well-draining mix—something like 50% premium potting mix and 50% perlite. For plants like Anthuriums that need extra drainage, adding orchid bark can help. We’re happy to give more detailed advice if needed—just reach out.
