Stromanthe Triostar

The Stromanthe Triostar is a show-stopping plant celebrated for its striking variegated foliage. Its leaves feature a stunning blend of white streaks with dark and light green accents, while the undersides are a vibrant fuchsia. When light shines through, the white sections appear soft pink, creating a beautiful display of colour.

Care Requirements

• Lighting: Prefers bright indirect light to maintain its beautiful variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves.
• Soil and Watering: Thrives in well-draining soil that is consistently moist. Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings but avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
• Humidity: While it loves high humidity, it adapts well to regular household humidity levels. 

Growth Habits

This plant grows upright, with its rhizomatous roots producing new shoots horizontally. Over time, these shoots will emerge from the soil, eventually filling the pot. When the plant reaches the pot's edges, it may require repotting or division to maintain its health and beauty.

Important Notes

• Not Beginner-Friendly: This plant requires attentive care to prevent crispy edges and maintain its striking appearance. It's best suited for intermediate  plant owners.
• Pest Management: Can occasionally attract spider mites or mealybugs. Regular inspection and care can keep pests at bay.
• Pet Safe: Non-toxic to pets and humans, making it a safe choice for households with furry friends or children.

We only ship plants on Mondays. Please order before 2pm on Sunday to ensure your plant will be sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time MIGHT not be shipped untill the following week.

We only ship plants to non-quarantine states (sorry sorry WA, TAS and NT residents). Shipping of plants is capped at $18.00 per order. This includes the packing materials and labour times. We use recycled packing where possible to reduce our waste and keep cost down, but we ensure that all packing material is sturdy enough to resist damage during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We will not request signature on delivery, as parcels sent back to the post office may not get picked up for days, therefore increasing the amount of stress placed on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from the Northern Wellbeing Centre; 113C miller st, Epping VIC. If you select this option at check-out, we will email you to organise a pick-up time.
