Variegated Philodendron Burle MarxGreen My Space
Philodendron Burle Marx is an easy-care philodendron, however we find that the variegated version are a little harder to look after. They have a greater requirement for bright light, and in our experience are also more prone to root rot (so keep in well-draining soil and water cautiously). The plant you see photographed is the plant you will receive. It has been propagated and grown in passive hydro. Its growing in clay balls as pictured, but will be sent wrapped in sphagnum. Once received, you can choose if you'd like to pot them up in a well draining soil mix, or continue growing them in a hydroponic medium of your choice.
Please note that the price of each plant reflects both its size and level of variegation.
Plant A, B, D, and E have great variegation (including stem variegation) and hence have a very slim chance of reverting. Plant D has chunky stem variegation, causing it to throw out leaves with stunning blocky variegation, as well as all green and all yellow leaves. All other plants have more mottled variegation characteristic of these plants. Plant F has moderate levels of variegation, and plant C has low levels of variegation. Many of plant c's active tips are all green, but it is still displaying some variegation.
We only ship plants to non-quarantine states (sorry sorry WA, TAS and NT residents).
Shipping of plants is capped at $15.00 per order. This includes the packing materials and labour. We use recycled packing where possible to reduce our waste and keep cost down, but we ensure that all packing material is sturdy enough to resist damage during transit.
If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We will not request signature on delivery, as parcels sent back to the post office may not get picked up for days, therefore increasing the amount of stress placed on the plant(s) inside.
This plant can also be picked up from our warehouse at 113C miller st, Epping VIC
