Philodendron Billietiae Variegata – Rare Collector’s Aroid with Bold Variegation

The Philodendron Billietiae Variegata is a highly sought-after plant, prized for its elongated, wavy leaves and striking yellow variegation. Each leaf of this rare Philodendron displays a mix of bold, blocky, and mottled variegation, creating a truly one-of-a-kind statement piece. Its distinctive foliage and rarity make it a valuable addition to any collector’s plant collection.

Why Choose Philodendron Billietiae Variegata?

  • Stunning Variegation: Features a mix of blocky and mottled yellow patterns on elongated, wavy leaves.
  • Fast-Growing Climber: Develops impressive size when given proper support, such as a moss pole or trellis.
  • Adaptable Growth Conditions: Thrives in both soil and hydroponic setups.
  • Easy to Grow: Despite its rarity, it’s a low-maintenance plant suitable for both beginners and collectors.

Care Requirements

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, though it can tolerate lower light levels. Higher light encourages better variegation.
  • Soil: Grows well in a well-draining mix but also adapts excellently to hydroponics.
  • Watering: Keep soil moderately moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering.
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity, but adapts well to standard indoor levels.

Shipping

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.
