Caring for Monstera Peru is a breeze, making it an excellent option for both experienced plant owners and beginners. It thrives in indoor environments with less light and water compared to other Monstera species. In terms of temperature and humidity, Monstera Peru thrives in warm, humid environments similar to its native tropical habitat. Temperatures between 16 and 30 degrees Celsius are ideal.

Low - moderate bright indirect light is sufficient for this plant. Direct sunlight should be avoided as the plant's thick leaves are prone to sunburn and scorching. Like all aroids, it grows best in a rich, airy, and well-draining mixture. Watering the Monstera Peru is straightforward as well. Its thick leaves make it more drought-tolerant than its counterparts, so allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

As it is an epiphyte, providing a support structure such as a moss pole or trellis allows the plant to showcase its natural vining growth habit. While many let Monstera Peru climb, it also flourishes in hanging baskets, gracefully trailing its foliage downwards.

We only ship plants on Mondays. Please order before 2pm on Sunday to ensure your plant will be sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time MIGHT not be shipped untill the following week.

We only ship plants to non-quarantine states (sorry sorry WA, TAS and NT residents). Shipping of plants is capped at $18.00 per order. This includes the packing materials and labour times. We use recycled packing where possible to reduce our waste and keep cost down, but we ensure that all packing material is sturdy enough to resist damage during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We will not request signature on delivery, as parcels sent back to the post office may not get picked up for days, therefore increasing the amount of stress placed on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from the Northern Wellbeing Centre; 113C miller st, Epping VIC. If you select this option at check-out, we will email you to organise a pick-up time.
