Monstera Peru  – Compact, Textured Climber

The Monstera Peru is a unique climbing aroid, prized for its thick, dark green leaves with deep, ridge-like textures. Unlike the fenestrated leaves of Monstera deliciosa, this compact species is perfect for those seeking a low-maintenance yet striking plant.

Care Requirements

• Light: Thrives in low to moderate bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent scorching.
• Soil: Prefers a rich, airy, well-draining mix, like other aroids.
• Watering: Allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Overwatering may lead to root rot.
• Humidity: Adapts well to indoor conditions but thrives in warm, humid environments (16–30°C).
• Pest Resistance: Thick leaves make it less prone to pests, though occasional scale infestations may occur.

What to Expect

The plant pictured is a representation of the Monstera Peru you will receive. All of our Monstera Peru were propagated from variegated mother plants, but they currently display no variegation. If you're looking for the variegated version, you can find it here.

Our Monstera Peru have long vines ready to climb a moss pole or trellis, or they can also be propagated. We also have some smaller, more manageable vines. If you prefer a smaller plant, please indicate this in the notes section at checkout.

Note: Like other Monstera species, this plant is toxic to pets if ingested.

We only ship plants on Mondays. Please order before 2pm on Sunday to ensure your plant will be sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time MIGHT not be shipped untill the following week.

We only ship plants to non-quarantine states (sorry sorry WA, TAS and NT residents). Shipping of plants is capped at $18.00 per order. This includes the packing materials and labour times. We use recycled packing where possible to reduce our waste and keep cost down, but we ensure that all packing material is sturdy enough to resist damage during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We will not request signature on delivery, as parcels sent back to the post office may not get picked up for days, therefore increasing the amount of stress placed on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from the Northern Wellbeing Centre; 113C miller st, Epping VIC. If you select this option at check-out, we will email you to organise a pick-up time.
