Syngonium Strawberry Ice – Unique Collector’s Plant

The Syngonium Strawberry Ice is a rare and highly sought-after collector’s plant, known for its stunning combination of deep burgundy and olive green leaves. Occasionally, this plant will surprise with baby pink variegation, though the current plants in this listing do not have pink leaves at the moment. All plants in our collection have come from the same mother plant, and it’s possible that new pink leaves may emerge in the future as the plant matures.

What Makes Syngonium Strawberry Ice Special?

  • Dynamic Variegation: These Syngoniums primarily feature rich, dark hues of burgundy, olive green, and baby pink offering a striking appearance.
  • Collector’s Plant: As one of the rarer Syngoniums, the Strawberry Ice is perfect for plant enthusiasts and collectors looking to add a unique specimen to their collection.
  • Easy Care Climber: Like other Syngoniums, Strawberry Ice is relatively easy to care for, thriving in bright, indirect light and adapting well to indoor conditions. However, if it doesn’t receive enough light, it may drop leaves that lack green.

Care Instructions for Syngonium Strawberry Ice

This Syngonium requires the same care as other varieties:

  • Light: Provide bright, indirect light to maintain healthy growth and vibrant foliage. Lower light levels may result in fewer variegated leaves or leaf drop.
  • Watering: Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in water to prevent root rot.
  • Humidity: Prefers higher humidity levels but can adapt to typical indoor environments.

Shipping

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
