Syngonium chiapense 'Frosted Heart' – Compact Plant with Silvery-Green Leaves

Syngonium chiapense 'Frosted Heart' stands out for its silvery overlay on rich green leaves. This cultivated form is more compact than the typical chiapense, making it well-suited to smaller spaces and collections.

Frosted Leaf Appearance with a Silvery Sheen

Each leaf displays a soft, silvery-white finish across the surface, creating a frosted effect that varies from plant to plant. The distinct colouring adds subtle interest without overpowering your space.

Compact Growth and Manageable Size

With shorter internodes and slower growth, 'Frosted Heart' stays neater than standard Syngonium chiapense. It can be grown upright with support or allowed to remain low and full with pruning.

Simple Care for Indoor Conditions

  • Light: Bright, indirect preferred; avoid direct sun
  • Water: Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry before watering
  • Humidity: Benefits from moderate to high humidity, but grows fine in regular household humidity. 
  • Temperature: Maintain above 15°C for steady growth
  • Support: Optional, encourages larger foliage over time

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
