The Philodendron Strawberry Shake is a true favourite among plant collectors, known for its vibrant  foliage. New leaves emerge in shades of pink, gradually revealing a stunning contrast of cream and green variegation against bright pink petioles. This hardy plant is not only a visual delight but also easy to care for, rewarding you with a lush, colourful display for years to come.

What Makes Philodendron Strawberry Shake Special?

  • Dynamic Foliage: The leaves start off as pink and slowly transition to a beautiful mix of cream and green, offering a stunning display of variegation throughout the plant’s life.
  • Bright Pink Petioles: The vibrant pink petioles add a pop of colour to the plant, enhancing the overall visual appeal and making it a standout in any plant collection.
  • Hardy and Rewarding: With the right care, Philodendron Strawberry Shake is a durable and fast-growing plant, making it both a statement piece and a reliable addition to your living space.

Care Instructions for Philodendron Strawberry Shake

This philodendron is relatively low-maintenance, but optimal care will ensure it thrives:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant colours. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while low light may dull the variegation.
  • Watering: Water when the top 2-3 cm of soil is dry. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged to avoid root rot. Grows well in passive hydroponics.
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity levels.
