• Light Sensitivity: The unique colouring of Philodendron Florida Ghost leaves is significantly influenced by light conditions. In optimal bright, indirect light, the leaves emerge in a striking white. In lower levels of light, the new leaves will start as a pale mint green, and not the characteristic white. Changes in the plant's light environment won't yield immediate effects; typically, it takes a few weeks to a month for the plant to adjust and respond to new lighting conditions.

Caring for your Philodendron Florida Ghost is straightforward, perfect for both novice and seasoned plant collectors.

• Soil Needs: Prefers well-draining soil that allows for slight drying between waterings, supporting healthy growth without water-logging.
• Lighting: Thrives in bright, indirect light. We recommend growing it in front of an east or west-facing window, as the morning or afternoon sun exposure won't scorch the plant but will encourage white emergent growth. South-facing windows are also fine, but less likely to encourage white emergent leaves. If you want to try growing the plant in a north facing window, be sure to situate the plant far enough from the window to avoid harsh direct sunlight. If you are struggling to achieve white emergent leaf growth, we recommend the addition of a grow light. 
• Support Growth: As this plant is a climber, it will need a support pole as it grows. Encourage larger leaf size with a moss pole that will allow the aerial roots of the plant to grow into it.

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
