Monstera 'Albo'

The Monstera 'Albo' is one of the most sought-after plants among collectors, known for its stunning variegated leaves that blend striking white and vibrant green. 

What to Expect

The plant you see in the photos is the exact plant you will receive. The newest leaf of plant B is pictured in the second image and showing promising variegation. It is growing in a 90 mm square grow pot, and plant C is growing in a 70 mm square grow pot. 

    Care Instructions for Monstera 'Albo'

    As with all variegated Monsteras, care will vary depending on the amount of white in the leaves. Leaves with more white are more sensitive to environmental conditions, so special attention is needed:

    • Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect light to maintain the plant’s variegation. Leaves with more white require adequate light to prevent browning, but excessive direct sunlight can lead to leaf burns.
    • Watering: Allow the top few centimeters to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, but it’s important not to let the plant fully dry out either.
    • Humidity: As a tropical plant, the Monstera 'Albo' prefers higher humidity levels (60% or more), though it can adapt to average household humidity with the right care.
    • Growing Medium: Use a chunky mix, adding orchid bark and perlite to a potting is recommended.

    This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

    We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

    Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

    Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

    Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

    If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

    This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
