Epipremnum pinnatum 'Cebu Blue' – Silvery-Blue Fenestrated Foliage
Epipremnum pinnatum 'Cebu Blue' is a tropical climbing plant known for its elongated, blue-green leaves with a subtle silvery sheen. Unlike the broader, heart-shaped leaves of many common Pothos varieties, Cebu Blue produces narrower, pointed foliage that develops distinctive splits and openings as it matures.
Our Cebu Blue plants have been propagated from mature cuttings and already display fenestrations, giving you a head start on enjoying their distinctive mature foliage.
Distinctive Blue-Green Foliage
The elongated leaves feature soft blue-green colouring with silvery undertones that become more noticeable in certain lighting. Their distinctive shape and subtle metallic appearance make Cebu Blue an interesting addition to any indoor plant collection.
Already Fenestrated, with More Potential as It Grows
Unlike juvenile Cebu Blue plants, which typically have solid leaves, our plants have been propagated from mature cuttings and already feature natural leaf splits. Providing a moss pole or other vertical support encourages climbing and can help the plant maintain and develop larger, more mature foliage as it grows.
Adaptable and Relatively Easy to Grow Indoors
Cebu Blue is a relatively low-maintenance indoor plant when provided with suitable light, warmth and a well-draining potting mix. Its climbing or trailing habit makes it suitable for shelves, hanging planters or vertical supports.
Epipremnum Cebu Blue Care
- Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh direct sunlight.
- Water: Allow the upper portion of the potting mix to dry before watering again. Avoid keeping the roots constantly wet.
- Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but can adapt to typical indoor conditions.
- Temperature: Keep in a warm position, protected from cold draughts and frost.
- Potting Mix: Use a well-draining, airy aroid mix that allows oxygen to reach the roots.
- Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced fertiliser during active growth, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Growth Habit: Climbing or trailing. Vertical support encourages larger, mature foliage.
