Ctenanthe 'Golden Mosaic' – Easy Indoor Plant with Yellow Variegation

Ctenanthe 'Golden Mosaic' is an easy-care indoor plant with soft green leaves marked with golden-yellow variegation. The yellow appears in irregular patches across the leaf surface, giving the plant a bold, patterned appearance. It stays compact, making it ideal for shelves, desks, or smaller indoor spots. In lower light, the yellow may appear slightly greener or less vibrant.

Care Requirements

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Can adapt to lower light but colour contrast may fade slightly.
  • Watering: Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid letting it fully dry out or stay overly wet.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining indoor potting mix.
  • Humidity: Prefers regular indoor humidity. Extra moisture in the air is helpful during dry periods.

The plant shown is a good representation of what you’ll receive. It’s pictured in our 'The Coastal' planter, which is not included. Some natural variation in size and leaf markings is expected.

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
