Anthurium vittarifolium 

Anthurium vittarifolium is a strap-leaf Anthurium grown for its long, narrow hanging foliage. As it matures, the leaves develop impressive length and a soft draping habit, making it a strong choice for shelves, plant stands, or hanging positions where the foliage has room to fall naturally.

Unlike velvet-leaf Anthuriums grown for broad leaves and bold venation, Anthurium vittarifolium is prized for its elongated foliage and flowing shape. It brings a different texture to an indoor plant collection and works especially well when displayed up high or in a position where the leaves can trail freely.

Best suited to bright, indirect light and steady care

This plant will perform best in bright, indirect light with warmth, consistent moisture, and moderate to higher humidity. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can damage the foliage, and aim to keep conditions as stable as possible while the plant establishes.

The plant pictured is a representation of the plant you will receive. As with all living plants, natural variation in size, shape, and leaf number should be expected.

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
