Anthurium magnificum x grande – Velvet-Leaf Hybrid for Experienced Growers

This hybrid combines the bold, veined leaves of Anthurium magnificum with the large size potential of Anthurium grande. The result is a velvet-leaf plant with strong, prominent veining and impressive growth, ideal for collectors who can meet its specific care requirements.

Striking Velvet Foliage with Prominent Veining

Each leaf is dark green with a velvety surface and bright, contrasting veins. Over time, leaves can grow large, developing strong structure and texture that make this hybrid a focal point in any collection.

Requires Warmth, Humidity, and Consistent Care

Best suited to tropical conditions, this plant needs high humidity and stable warmth to thrive. Without the right environment, it may struggle, making it more appropriate for experienced growers or those with controlled setups.

We don’t recommend this plant for beginners or low-humidity spaces. While some growers succeed in adapting it to less-than-ideal conditions, this requires care and attention beyond typical houseplant needs.

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
