Sansevieria trifasciata 'Superba', also known as Snake Plant, is a hardy indoor plant with upright, sword-shaped foliage. Its dark green leaves feature soft horizontal banding and yellow edges, giving it a strong, structured look without needing much attention.

Snake Plants are well known for tolerating a wide range of indoor positions. They can manage in lower light, although brighter indirect light will usually encourage stronger growth and clearer leaf markings. Avoid harsh direct sun, which may scorch the foliage.

This is a drought-tolerant plant that stores moisture in its leaves, so it does not need frequent watering. Allow the potting mix to dry out completely before watering again, and avoid leaving it sitting in wet soil.

This plant will be sent in its plastic growing pot.

We ship plants every Monday to non-quarantine states. Please place your order before 2 pm on Sunday to ensure your plant is sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time may not be shipped until the following week.

Orders to WA and TAS are shipped on selected dates only due to quarantine requirements. Orders for WA and TAS must be placed by 12 pm (midday) on the Friday before dispatch. Please see the list of WA and TAS shipping dates at the bottom of this page.

Shipping for plants to non-quarantine states is capped at $18.00 per order. Shipping for plants to WA and TAS is capped at $30.00 per order. We currently do not ship plants to NT.

Shipping costs include packing materials, labour, and certification where required. We use recycled packaging where possible to reduce waste and keep costs down, while ensuring all packing materials are sturdy enough to protect your plants during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We do not request signature on delivery, as parcels returned to the post office may not be collected for several days, which can place additional stress on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from Northern Wellbeing Centre, 113C Miller Street, Epping VIC. If you select this option at checkout, we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
