Anthurium obtusumGreen My Space
Anthurium obtusum is a hard to find climbing Anthurium. As these plants grow from seedlings to mature form, their shimmery oval leaves become thick and leathery. They require an extremely well draining anthurium mix, and bright - medium indirect light. These plants are of flowering age.
We have been growing these in both soil (anthurium mix) and semi hydro (clay balls, perlite, sphagnum, and MAB grow). Plants grown in soil will be sent in their 95 mm growing pot. Plants grown in semi-hydro will be sent wrapped in sphagnum moss. We can send the plant potted up in clay balls or perlite (please request this in the notes section at check out) if you have ordered 3 or less plants. The weight of the wet clay balls will make it too difficult to ship alongside more than a few other plants. Once received, you can choose if you'd like to pot it up in a well draining soil mix, or continue growing them in a hydroponic medium of your choice.
This plant will be sent in its pot. We only ship plants to non-quarantine states (sorry sorry WA, TAS and NT residents).
Shipping of plants is capped at $15.00 per order. This includes the packing materials and labour. We use recycled packing where possible to reduce our waste and keep cost down, but we ensure that all packing material is sturdy enough to resist damage during transit.
If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We will not request signature on delivery, as parcels sent back to the post office may not get picked up for days, therefore increasing the amount of stress placed on the plant(s) inside.
This plant can also be picked up from the Northern Wellbeing Centre at 113C miller st, Epping VIC, by appointment only.
